Tap at the brewpub as Charles B. Brown. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is nutty chocolate. Med body. Flavor is nutty, and there’s rather "creamy" chocolate. It’s just a little nut bitter. Mild nut greasiness. Good brown. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 26, 2013

Aromas are of big and robust malt, light dark fruit, a bit raisiny like Special B, leathery, spicy, lightly herbal, some grapenut like malt character. Flavors are toasty, lightly coconut like, raisiny, highly toasted malt, light melanoidins, medium sweet.
