a belgian blonde ale that ended up being pretty nice. my last "belgian" blonde was a Hugh Malone, so I was wanting more hops, but other than that, this was a slightly better than average belgian ale. nicely balance, soft fruit and yeast flavors and aroma. good, but nothing that’ll blow you away."

Sampled in a small quantity at brewhouse. I was really surprised by this one. Full of Belgian goodness. Creamy mouthfeel from extra wheat levels. Really well made brew DYCSoccer17 (3706) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 5, 2010
4 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. Faint noble spicy hop aroma with some biscuit maltiness, Aroma is quite faint and not overly impressive. Transparent pale straw body with a small white head. Starts sweet with some biscuit/dough malts early on. This becomes astringent and tart later on. Finishes with corn and cardboard hints with light herbal hoppiness and light crackers, too. Note sure what the astringency is all about. Seems disjointed. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2010

A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. A pungeant creamy coriander aroma, with light orange pulp. In mouth, a nice belgian ale with bananas, cloves and coriander. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub August 19, 2009. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - SEP 5, 2009
Draft @ FiftyFifty. Pours a hazy, golden color; bright white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Lots of cotton candy, bubblegum, and Belgian yeast character in the nose; surprisingly generous and pleasant, hefeweizen-like. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: dense Belgian sugars and cotton candy esters surrounded by white pepper and light clove presence; nice, lively acidity; again, hefeweizen-like: chewy, estery, dense. Medium finish: toasty malts, Belgian esters, and light pepper. Very impressed by this; lively expression.
