The aroma and flavor has roasted malt, dark chocolate, barrel notes, caramel, some earthy bitterness and some booze. The only negative is the medium light body. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head that clears edgeward.
Nose is dark toffee, bourbon enfused wood, earthy, light roast, dark fruits.
Taste comprises dark toffee, light chocolate strains, muscovado sugar, leather, light alcohol, bourbon oak.
Full bodied, fine carbonation with a good bourbon finish.

Bottle at Jack’s farewell tasting, big thanks to Bruce! It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, earth, juicy, toast, vanilla, coconut, fudge and toffee. The taste is smooth, roasted malt, coffee, light toast, warming alcohol, fudge, earth, raisin and chocolate with a dry, roasty finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London during Jack’s farewell tasting. Big thanks to Bruce for this rarity. Pours rich, brown-black with a creamy beige head. Nose holds some syrupy brown sugar, rich bread, figs. Big sweet flavor, moderately boozy with rich dark sugars, raisins, bread, a bit of dark chocolate. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, gooey brown sugar, rich bread, raisins and figs, some chocolate. Really tasty. A bit richer and less bitter than the non-iced version. I liked this one, thanks for sharing OmegaX. The pour was thick and black with little signs of carbonation. I smelled mainly coconut and molasses with some raisins, toffee and chocolate in the mix. Thanks, Joe, for sending me this one. Snifter pour. Not much of anything for a head. Some tan colored bubbles that quickly died. There was a ton of coconut aroma in this thing. Straight up macaroons, coconut, chocolate, sweet malts, molasses, bourbon, vanilla. Damn. This was nice. Poured out a deep, dark brown. Basically black. Thick, chewy texture. ABV isn’t very present for the flavor. Molasses and light roast with tons of coconut and bourbon flavors. Very well done!
