baraciisch (3440) - California, USA - DEC 19, 2014
Tasted side-by-side with a 2013 buffalo trace... Flavor is more roasty and hotter than the aged eclipse... Less complex ... However, by itself, aroma of anise, dark chocolate, bourbon... Flavor is dark chocolate, anise, roasted malts... Finish is dark bitter chocolate... Amazing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2015 Bottle share. 2013. Pours very dark brown. Aroma of bourbon, raisin, vanilla, sexy awesome. Taste is sweet. Dry finish from creamy excellence. 2012 bottle shared by GothGargoyle. Thanks so much! Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, boozey. Taste is sweet, with a tangy bitterness. Palate is ridiculously smooth.

Bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, some roasted notes, whiskey and alcohol. Flavor is sweet and roasted with some caramel, coffee, whiskey, wood, vanilla and caramel. Full body, average carbonation.

probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2014
Bomber shared by Steve. Deep brown-black with a mocha rim. Rich chocolate, coffee, vanilla, a rich, slightly metallic, a little booze. Medium+ body, very low carbonation. Rich chocolate and coffee, toffee, booze, really nice k off dry with a boozy, dark malt finish.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2014 2013 bomber - pitch black pour with minimal mocha colored head. Nose is heavy on roast with some barrel note. Taste is actually quite bitter with coffee like flavors. Not as viscous as others in this class. Good but not in the same class as the EC20.

ciocanelu (3109) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - NOV 26, 2014
Didn’t expect very much from this beer (I don’t know exactly why) but it was a really nice surprise. Big bourbon smell with some alcohol notes but not disturbing. Complex taste with some honey, coconut and vanilla. Not too sweet though, very balanced. Thick and creamy. Excellent!

Steasy66 (1158) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Blackish with small tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, marshmallow. Flavor is good, quite sweet, oily, strong bourbon. Really nice, like the 20 year but a bit more boozy.

WillRunForBeer (2803) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 9, 2014
From notes. 2013 Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours dark brown with a scant beige head. Aroma is molasses, chocolate, bourbon. The bourbon is forward in this, with chocolate, oak.

AirForceHops (8033) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Adam Jackson’s crazy vertical at my pad, in yet another 650 ml bottle. Aroma shows wood barrel and char malt with some leather and tobacco hints. Nice aroma’s.

Taste is a chocolate richness, mild roasted grain and finishing with bourbon and oak. Medium bodied with some low, creamy carbonation. Nice level of complex bourbon and awesome stout base. Really super smooth… I have never have had the 20 year but this is damn fine.
