Black with a brown head - Good malt aroma with some wood and spirits - Good malt body with wood and spirits that has a good alcohol warmth to it - A very good finish that has heat from alcohol, but in a good way -This was very good and tasty

beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - JUN 13, 2014
Black. Good sized frothy creamy frothy medium brown head, fairly lasting with some lace. Aroma is roasty, chocolatey, a little ash, along with some soft subtle bourbon. Lighter full body. Creamy and ultra smooth. Flavor explodes! Roasty coffee. Dark chocolate. Ash. Extraordinarily smooth bourbon. Some alcohol warmth, but no booze whatsoever. Phenomenal balance. Fantastic! Way exceeded my expectations.

TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 26, 2014
Was fortunate to have this at a share, 2012 bottle. Pours a nice dark black, oil like in viscosity. Bourbon, dark chocolate, and dark fruits on the nose; all follow onto the palate. Finishes with a sweetness to it. Very complex.
