Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coconuts, light to heavy chocolate - coffee, light to moderate hoppy, moderate alcohol - bourbon. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol warm finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. 
22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark malty and roasted with a small tan head. Aroma is Dry phenolic and hard roasted malt base. Dry and dark roasted malt base. THE Eclipse Tasting. Clear dark brown beer, little tan head. Smooth palate, softish. Mild fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts - chocolate and mild vanilla wood. Mellow bourbon. Smooth finish with a trace of dark fruits. Pretty easy going and very drinkable.

Big sweet flavor with dark bread, some molasses, brown sugar, moderate roast, light bitter earth. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly chewy. Bottle from Vinspecialisten, Aalborg. Black with a big and lasting brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, light vanilla and bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. Oily and smooth. 281214
