22 oz bottle at the ISKTR 2016, Hervanta, Finland. BR 1/2014. Thanks Timo A!
Black color with a small creamy tan head. Sweetness, malt and whiskey in the aroma. Sweet whiskey and sweet malt in the flavor. Warms. Smooth as silk. Full and rich. Im still not convinced its worth 38 eur. Well, lets celebrate Timos 50 years!

"Definite and noticeable drop-off from the EC 18/20 year version, but still a great beer, if a bit overpriced. Sweet, with a touch of hops at the end. Ive always really liked the base beer, and probably would like, but not love, this bourbon."

Bottle Pours clear and nearly black with a small, creamy, beige head. Decent retention. The bouquet offers bourbon-soaked fudge, vanilla, vinous dark sherry and a touch of coconut. Full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and zippy carbonation. The flavor is a swirl of fudge, sweet tawny port, bitter black malt and hops flanked by charcoal. Finishes singed and bittersweet more bitter than sweet. Kudos to richiesd for providing this bottle!

Woodshop! Black pour. Chocolate, molasses, bourbon, oak, vanilla and toffee nose. Flavor is much the same. I love how this brewery melds the barrel with a wondeful beer. Delicious!
