Awesome bottle. 2011 edition. Pours a jet black color with a small beige head. A wonderful nose of vanilla, massive mellow bourbon, toffee. huge. The flavor is super easy to drink, mellow, oak, vanilla, burnt caramel, dark fruit, light heat. My rating doesn’t convey how damn good that barrel is. Awesome beer. Top notch BA stout. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - DEC 27, 2013
Bomber shared with Lotta. Pours jet black with a small bubbly tanned head leaving some laces. Aroma is sweet raisins vinous roasted malty molasses, full bodied, some notes of coffee and chocolate mixed with alcohol. Flavor is similar to aroma, Velvety smooth, vanilla lightly bitter in front increasing towards the end. Surprisingly drinkable, not as heavy as I had expected. 2011 Bottle from my cellar. Pours black with beautiful ruby hightlights. nose is molasses, leather, brandy and dried cherries. First sip is sweet with roasted flavors like fresh espresso, followed lovely bourbon notes with deep dark chocolate followed by slightly smokey boozy brownie finish. Bottle at Craig’s. Pours jet black with a thin tan head. Aromas of rich christmas pudding, soy sauce and red meat, treacle and bourbon. Amazing nose. Taste subtley blends them all together, coming out with vanilla and maple syrup. Creamy texture, rich mouthfeel, luscious texture. Ace stuff.

Nose is fantastic, soy sauce and rare red meat. Pours black with a slight brown head. Caramel and maple syrup, subtle bourbon, excellent.

Bottle picked up at GBBF 2013, 2012 version. Pours a very dark brown to black. Aroma is soy, teriyaki, meat, treacle, marmite, not much sweetness. Full body, mild carbonation. Treacle, marmite, mild bitter choc, coffee, soy sauce, some toffee sweetness, a bit of booze. Certainly has plenty going on, but not entirely convinced about the balanced. It’s good, no question but no more. Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Bomber 2011 vintage poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of dark chocolate, bourbon, oak, dark fruit and brown sugar. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of dark chocolate, bourbon, oak, vanilla and light caramel with a smooth lingering bourbon finish. Decadent dark brown, tan ringed head. Rich pudding sweet light with the lightest lovely nudge of Bourbon throughout. Pancakey. Oily, super sweet middle and earthy malt kick - very, very rich tar towards the finish. There’s an oily caramel sweetness to the finish that is better than most desserts I’ve enjoyed.
