Black with a minimal white head. Aroma is chocolatey, bourbon, charred oak, caramel, fudge, vanilla, hints of coffee, alcohol and dried fruits. Taste is sweet malty, light bitter roastiness and warming alcohol. Finish is sweet fudgy, raisin, vanilla, bitter notes of dark chocolate, hints of ash, coffee, a bit woody, warming bourbon alcohol. Full bodied, creamy, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Pours a dark brown with a beige/almost brown rim that leaves some lacing. Nose is of bourbon, vanilla, coffee and alcohol. Taste is on the sweeter side and offers chocolate, vanilla bean, bourbon and alcohol again. Body is full, carbonation soft and mouthfeel is rich and syrupy. Overall a good BA imperial stout, I can’t say I’ve been wow’ed by it but it was still really good. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 31, 2012

Stora smaker, fantastiskt gott. Superbt dessertöl. reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2013
Pours deep brown with a thin tan head. Aroma has mild booze and whiskey...toasted coconut and faint vanilla. Flavor has toasted coconut followed by bold roasty coffee, burnt caramel, and vanilla notes...tasty. mouthfeel is medium and the finish is brown sugar/whiskey/coffee...warming. Shared this with Thorpe and Thorpette after they brought over a steak dinner recently (they’re total ballers). Amy was holding and ogling my newborn son, so she drank hers with a crazy straw. Anywho...
The beer is dark brown with a nice beige head. Noticeably more carbonation than the Brewmaster’s Grand Cru I opened recently.
Nice aroma - bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, oak. A lot of wood character.
The best of the series to this point, though I still have many to work through. Surprisingly pleasant notes of toasted marshmallow, coconut, vanilla. Really digging the subtle complexities at work here. This was served at 60 degrees, so many of the more delicate characteristics jumped out right away. Of course, bourbon, chocolate and oak are front and center, but the nuances steal the show in this beer.
Medium to full bodied with adequate carbonation. Still a bit on the low side. Silky and smooth on the palate.
A winner. I definitely recommend it.

Bottle. The sweetest, smoothest, and most mellow bourbon of all of the treatments. I really dig those those caramel malt, vanilla, oak, and dark roasted malts. Good body and mouthfeel. A very nice imperial stout... kryon (3554) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 28, 2014
