On draft. Reddish yellow pour, slightly murky, with an off white head. Bitter, citrusy, pine, grapefruit, caramel, a bit bready, and somewhat metallic. Meh, rather dull. slowrunner77 (11938) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"Red malt for subtle sweetness and balance And a very aggressively bitter hop combination. I didn’t particularly care for the overly bitter hop profile, but the brew is still pretty good...just not my thing." TimE (5793) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 27, 2014
dark brown head. Muted nose, but lots of coffee, dried fruit, lots of roastiness, hazelnuts full thick body in the mouth.
Big bad ass beer with lots of dried fruit in the finish and lots of roastiness. Great. Sledutah (7495) - Utah, USA - FEB 18, 2014

Cloudy dark golden with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of pine and caramel. Flavors are piney, malty and bitter
Nice, well balanced
Dark amber to caramel brown in color... Aroma of sweet citrus hops, grapefruit on the nose... Flavor is dark caramel toffee malts, roasted malt character, light citrus notes, but burnt malts dominate... Not much bitterness on the finish.... Decent, but nothing special

Dark amber pour with an off-white head. Citrus peel, pine, grapefruit, and sweet malt. Nice toffee and toasted bread, grass, and some floral hop notes. Nice light bitterness to go with the malt and toffee, sweetness, and bread. Good grapefruit, pine, and plenty of floral hops. Light tangerine and grass notes, too. Draft at Monks. Hazy orange brown pour. Burned malt flavors with high hop bitterness. Approximates a black IPA. Lots of citrus pith. Medium body. Not bad but not exciting. PhillyCraft (7117) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2012

Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, resin, citrus, slight fruit, and some light sugars. Medium body. Oily, slick, creamy, texture. Soft carbonation.
