If being in one of the coldest places in the US isn’t extreme enough, the contents of this beer may very well redefine your commitment to the pursuit of hops. Rockslide IPA is brewed in the ’West Coast’ style with aggressive amounts of American hops such as Amarillo, Centennial and Summit hops. You are greeted with a full frontal assault of citrus/grapefruit/pine hop character, followed up with malt to balance the mouthfeel. This beer is all about hops.

Draft at Fifty Fifty. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have tangerine citrus, grapefruit, toasted malts, general bitterness, the aroma is more fruity than the flavor, good dry bitter finish.

On draft at BeerCraft. Assertive hops. Citrus, piney, resin, very bitter. Great IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Glass at Original Gravity, pours copper brown with small head and very light lacing. Notes are ashy hops similar to a red or amber with a good bit of honey and light grapes. A little too aggressive and sweet which is a common theme these days.

Deep gold color... Aroma is minimal piney hops... Flavor is fairly dry throughout, initially a little watery, but palate explodes with pine hop bitterness, spicy hops... Decent, not my favorite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Really nice grapefruit hop nose, some pine, and a bit of tropical fruit. Hints of melon and lemon zest. Biscuit malt base. There’s a nice fruit character to the flavor, too. Big grapefruit, tropical fruit, and some peaches. Melon, lemon zest, and pine. Moderate bitterness, some hints of malt sweetness.
