Tap @ brewery. Cloudy, honey body topped with a beefy, foamy head that coats the glass and lasts. Bright, citrus and fruity hop nose, some rye...actually. mouth is medium-full and foamy, dry finish. Flavor is lightly sweet up front followed by a lot of hops, strong, long finish rye and citrusy hops, pine grapefruit rind. big and bitter and a little harsh...its good stuff.
This is okay. The malt is a bit sweet but not too heavy on the rye. It’s pretty good at times but not at othera. Eh. bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 23, 2016
Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark and very ruddy. Aroma of malt and rye. Med body. Flavor is "Amber mall" and rye. Maybe some citrus hop. Malty, but rye saves the beer. bytemesis (8423) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - FEB 16, 2016
Tap at fifty fifty. Pours quite hazy Amber, medium creamy off white head, good lacing. Aroma is pine and grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, prominent rye bite. Medium body, lingering bitterness. Zymurgeist2 (2246) - Redwood City, California, USA - AUG 8, 2015

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy golden. Nose grassy hop and biscuit malt. Taste of the spicy rye, strong bitter mid, and peppery finish ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - JUN 10, 2013
On tap at the brewery in Truckee. Dark orange pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is slight rye spiciness, dank hops, pine resin. Interesting take on a rye IPA, but everything is a little to far on the subtle side. wchesser (2076) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Danker hops than the Rockslide and darker amber. Much less citrus notes, but the rye is very subtle, too much so for me. Good beer but not a great rye IPA. Ratman197 (14842) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 19, 2012
On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of rye, earthiness, pine and grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering rye finish. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Tap @ Hops and Pies Denver during FiftyFifty tap takeover. Pours a cloudy orange appearance with an off white head. Pretty intense piney, chewy citrus hoppy, fairly spicy rye aroma. More rye spiciness in the flavor is balanced by a nice grapefruit citrusiness. The rye isn’t overpowering but is a nice addition. Pretty tasty Rye IPA.
