Draft. A brown beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of bread, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

Not bad... a good showing, but probably not Award Winning--as depicted on the label. It is a mellow journey through familiar brown ale territory. High in the biscuit and toffee-like flavors. Satisfying. 22oz bottle.

One of my all time favorite brown ales. Balances the roast character deftly with a smooth sweet caramel flavor. The light chocolate character adds a level of depth unmatched. A sensual and lovingly inviting brown color in the glass like a Latin seductress. Not many brown ales take the cake like this one does.

I had this one at the brewery. A mild brown ale. Sweet body, wet finish. Chocolate, caramel, some roasted flavors.

Clear deep amber beer, decent cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, some dry cream. A little chocolate and mild spice. Lightly bitter floralness. Ripe oranges and a general fruit tang. Semi dry finish. Tangy fruity linger. Not bad.

Poured from the 12oz bottle into a shaker glass. Dark brown nearly black pour with a tan head. Aroma is sweet and caramely with some nuttiness and light roast. Flavor is not as sweet as the aroma implies - mildly roasty with some nice nuttiness. Medium bodied. Not super complex but a very drinkable brown.

On tap at Fig. Mtn. brewery, smells of malty and roasted goodness. A smooth roasted, malty somewhat coffee taste. A very good brown ale.
