COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy Poppy IPA is identified by its intense hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. The brilliant appearance and dry texture of this IPA is reminiscent of a fine Santa Ynez Valley chardonnay and is the Master Brewer’s favorite vintage.

This is a great every day beer. I enjoy drinking it with most types of food. Highly recommended.

Citrus aroma but not overwhelming Appearance is a beautiful golden orange Taste is very memorable with tropical notes and enough bite to note a full IPA Palate is well balanced and very drinkable Overall a phenomenal IPA and its balance is impressive

Had a 22 oz bomber from Whole Foods. Tried this one from Figueroa Mountain Brewing after trying some of their others on the shelf. Very clean appearance light orange hue. Crisp floral on the front end, smooth hop middle and citrusy grapefruit finish. Not too over the top on the hop as most West Coast IPAs are but overall a solid beer. Will grab a few more of these next time at whole foods.

Good ol’ hoppy west coast IPA. Rather mellow and easy to drink but still has a nice bitter bite at the end that doesn’t linger.

22oz bomber in pint glass. Well rounded IPA with the citrus notes you’d expect from a good IPA. Not overly aggressive. Very drinkable.

Pours golden copper with a little haze. Thick head that dissipates slowly. Smooth, light body. Nice aroma of citrus, poppy, hop bitterness and some carmel malt sweetness. Very drinkable , smooth and balanced.

Type: 22-oz. bottle Glass: Karl Strauss pint glass From: Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, Calif. Price: $6.29 Misc.: N/A Poured an orange amber color with 1-2 fingers of off-white head. A few spots of off-white lacing on the sides. Average retention on the top on the way down. Smelled a nice mix whiff of floral and citrus hops, which all came together nicely. Sweet floral hops led the way. Citrus hops seemed to be tangerine and orange more than anything else. Tasted pretty close to the nose, but not quite as good. Got those sweet floral hops, although not as pronounced. So I guess Cascade hops. Also orange and tangerine citrus hops. Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Long, slightly bitter finish. A really nice IPA, which almost tasted more like an APA. Nice deviation from the normal IPA.

Floral overtones to the characteristic IPA citrus aroma. Deep amber in color with lacy but quickly dissipating head. Dry taste profile and not particularly bitter. Body is light. Lacks the more full-bodied feel of most IPAs.
