Pale straw colour. Aroma is sweet and hoppy. Pine and fruit with a bit of sweet malt. Assertive bitterness with pine, fruit and some tropical notes. A bit of orange and some zest. Moderate bitterness. Pretty nice beer really. Troupis (279) - - NOV 24, 2017
Strong! Lacks aroma and hop punch but still good. Hazy look and high abv so assumed hoppier than is. Only 75 IBU and shows.

It’s got a nice mouth feel, but very boozy taste. Supposed to be a mix of tropical flavors, not getting it. I see where it is supposed to be coming from, but not pulling through. It’s ok. It’s a good strong beer, but nothing to rave about.

Bottle. Rusty orange and frothy. Overall, quite earthy and metallic. Definitely a chewy, forested woodsiness (I’m making up words). Very bitter. Enjoyable, big beer. (#6665, 6/15/2017) maekchu (4104) - Hirakata, JAPAN - FEB 8, 2017
Bomber. Nose of citrus, lots of tropical fruit, and overripe melons. Clear medium amber color, frothy off-white head, sticky lace. Quite sweet right off, again with a variety of tropical fruits, mango, guava, citrusy hops. Medium-heavy body, with just a hint of hop burn. Nice, A melange of fruits. Hides the alc. well.

Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Mild fruity hops, some pithy bitterness, light floral notes, and mild sweetness. Pretty good. john44 (3456) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2017
Bottle. Clear Yellow Gold in colour. Average foamy white head. Fair lacing. Very Fruity; citrus grapefruit and orange, pith, tropical fruits, mango and melon. Spicy; slightly peppery. Hoppy; piney resinous hops. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel. Sweet-bitter very citrus and tropical fruity hoppy. Increasingly bitter and dry hoppy finish. Liked this. Good DIPA! (2016-09-13)

Within the FM big beers and again within the hoppy beers were all pleasant alone, but all had far too many similarities in supposedly different styles and treatments. Too much in common to appreciate as much as a whole.
That said, this slighlty beats out the 3 other hoppy offering as my favorite. Sweet, citrusy and tropical fruit, a little boozy. Clean. Good. kevinsenn (2310) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 1, 2016
