Taste: rich nutty, spiced, bread, herbs, white pepper. Sourdough, almost earthy nose. Deep gold color, clear with a foamy white head and big lace on the glass. Crisp and tasty medium body Belgian Saison.

mansquito (6438) - Nueva York, New York, USA - OCT 10, 2015
Binny’s in Lakeview: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is honey, funk, and hay. Taste is not too great. Kind of metallic finish. Light hops. Kind of wack honey taste. Meh saison. Not terrible but i chugged it because i didnt want to drink it.

madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 30, 2015
Bottle - Pours lightly hazy golden with a filmy off-white head. Nose is a little boozy and sharp with candied pineapple, a little grassy hops, and sweet maltiness. Taste is the same--a little sharp and boozy with sweet pineapple, a little grassy hoppiness, and a watery, bready finish.

22oz bomber. The honey comes through pretty well, nicely complementing the saison yeast. Pretty drinkable for 8.5%...I guess that’s because it is 6.5%. Pretty solid, the honey sweetens and smooths it out. Pretty enjoyable, respectable offering.

ryecatcher (1445) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2015
First beer from F-8BC. Pours a medium gold, some floaties, white head with decent retention. Malt, mild funk, bread dough, white pepper, dried grass. Mouth is medium fill, light creaminess, medium citrus bitterness with some tang mingling, bready, citrus pith bitterness and some metallic and caramel notes near finish. Not great, or a quality example of the style, but not terrible.

22oz bottle, shared by tmoney99. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin ring of off-white head, dots of lace. Belgian yeast, some straw / bread. Medium-plus body. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Kinda slick. Hints of lemon. Mild spicy and herbal flavors. Grows on me as I go. Gets a bit more complex. Moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Alright saison ale.

Tmoney99 (14490) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Bottle. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Moderate yeast, malt, floral aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft beer.

alexsdad06 (10430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 7, 2014
22 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some fruit yeast, pilsner like malts and hops, grass, finish is soft, mild to moderate bitterness, very average stuff at best.

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - NOV 24, 2014
Bottle shared by Matt -- from notes. Murky tamarind pour; aroma = straight pickle juice. Also apples, toast, pepper ... and pickles. Always pickles. So many damned pickles. Taste: sweet, pickles, toast, some spice ... Malt forward, really can’t imagine this as a saison. Sweaty faded hops. Herbal. Not good.

Dfonorow (2216) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 22, 2014
On tap @ Beer Camp - Chicago. Pour is murky orange with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of heavy yeast, spice, and biscuit malt. Slight alcohol in the finish.
