Pale, brassy-straw-golden with a gentle haze and small, frothy white head atop.
Sweaty citra in the nose mixes with light vanilla and honey from the malt. The yeast produces a strong pepper character and I’m always shocked how different primary Brett/Brux Trois-fermented beers are from those with Brett added at secondary or bottling. Light lime, hay, a touch of bubble gum and a bit of light saccharine on the end. Azacca don’t seem to fierce here, but there is a lot of pineapple on the finish with just a hint of pine.
Dry, bubbly and with a gentle funk that is preceded by lots of grass and pepper. I think a good amount of the yeast activity is covered up by the hops and some of it is hard to distinguish (the sweat, pineapple, lime, etc...). Still, it’s fairly soft, with a bit of graininess to it and goes down very easy without any big bitterness or resin.
Draught @ Malt and Mold. Milky bright yellow with foamy white head, sharp citrus aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter citrusy taste, smooth body, long citrusy finish. Very smooth and drinkable.
