Total Wine, Fairfax 4-pak: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops. Light malt backbone. Not really all that bitter or hoppy in the taste. Not a remarkable example of the style, but drinkable. nathan30533 (1022) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2013
Great Anerican beer. Good hop taste. Good look and lacing. Good brew. Would recommend as an example of American pale ale. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Orange pour with clinging white head and lace. Aroma is flat light malt, and some orange zest. Flavor is semi sweet malt, some citrus bitter, and some flat like funk. Not really bad but something. Medium bodied with some foamy carbonation. ok beer 12 oz can radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 20, 2013
16oz can. Poured a hazy orange color, medium-large off-white head. Aroma was citrus notes, light caramel malt notes. Flavor was sweet, light hops. Bitterness from the hops. Pretty drinkable. Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUL 17, 2013
Serving: 16 oz. can from State Line Liquors. It pours a cloudy dark orange with a small off white head. The nose has bright notes of citrus and pineapple, brown sugar, and brown bread. The flavor has even balance between the malt and hops. The hops are much more subdued on the tongue than in the nose. There is some earthy bitterness with a touch of citrus. More nuttiness and almost chocolate notes peek through. Light to medium body with a medium finish. Solid flagship brew.

Pours a golden orange cooper hazy color with a small head. Nose is hoppy with a touch of caramel and malt. Taste is more caramel and malt with mild citrus. Nothing very complex, an average APA, missing the up front citrus. Finish is mildly bitter without any real lingering . Quaff Score 6 / 10 zgaier (1968) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JUL 7, 2013
Pours a dark golden copper with a beige head and aroma of aroma of hops and caramel. Taste is of caramel and malt with hop and citrus coming through in the bitter finish. Drinkable, solid APA but not much more K_Squared (25) - - JUL 5, 2013
On tap in Chicago (Sweetwater). This was my second beer so maybe some carryover effects, but not my ideal brew. Beerathon (1680) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Subtle orange scent with a blend of malts and hops that make for a nice pale ale. Dry finish on the tongue. Easy drinking pale ale. rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Amber body, thin light tan head. Nose is pine, orange, some medium caramel, honey. Flavor is pine, orange, solid bitterness, honey, nice toffee malt. Bitterness is slightly astringent but not overly so. Lingering bitterness in the finish with a bit too much sweetness fir my tastes. Still, a nice beer.
