Can. This pours a copper color with a thin off-white head. The aroma is uneventful; toasted grain, caramel, and a dash of citrus. Pretty tasty, though. There’s a sturdy toasted malt backbone underneath citrus peel and a touch of resin. It finishes fairly dry with mild to moderate bitterness. This probably won’t win any awards but it’s easy drinking and pretty solid.

Can into nonic pint. Pours hazy gold. No real head, moderate lacing. Light citrus aroma but not much else. Taste is pine and orange ring. Slightly sweet malty backbone, nice bitterness, but the orange rind is really overwhelming in this one. Definitely stands out from the crowd, but not necessarily in a good way.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light amber color with very little head on it. Nose has a little bit of orange citrus in with just a subtle hint of hoppiness on the back end. Taste is fairly bitter and has a definite bite to it, but the hops don’t taste super fresh. Not bad.

Can. Amber with a short white head. Aroma is soft citrus, floral and earthy hops atop light caramel and sweet malt. Taste is light citrus, floral hops, sweet malt, light caramel and earthy hops. Body is medium with a light, prickly carbonation. Ends with more caramel, sweet malt, earthy hops, floral hops and citrus.

transparent honey, thin white ring with island, small bubbled. Oxidized light tea nose, sugary caramel. Flavor starts with light toast, oxidation shows mid with heavy sugar and tea, bubblegum and wood finishing.

Beer tasting solid pale ale, worth a try. Some nice spice, crisp finish. Wanted a better balance of hops.

nimbleprop (8384) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 23, 2013
16oz can pours a hazy orange with a lot of frothy, white head. Nose is musty, dust, orange peel, hop dust, grass. Flavor is soapy, citrus pith, malt, grass, hay. Medium bodied, slick finish.

Not much to this one. I guess they package it in a can so I can drink it outdoors? I was not impressed. Aroma is light, slight green hop, a bit metallic. Taste and palate were thin and one dimensional. It wasn’t like this is a delicate beer with light complex flavors. Its just bland pale ale.
