Nearing perfection, this deplorable fascist pig is a malt lovers dream. Dripping with caramel in both flavor and aroma, the ample sweet maltiness of this beer is tempered by an earthy hop profile that blends perfectly with the malt base. Pours a hazy light brown and floats a medium sized tan head that leaves thick wads of lacing on the glass. A near perfect Strong Ale. The only element that could use improvement is that it sports a very mellow carbonation. In this case it could use a bit more bubbly to cleanse the palate in between swallows. My first from Finch’s and I’m very impressed with this can delivered nirvana beer. mfhennig (286) - McHenry County, Illinois, USA - FEB 16, 2015
