(pint can) Pours red amber, with a creamy buff head. Aroma is pleasantly complex - Butter biscuit, slightly sweet, a bit of spice. Taste starts like a Scotch Ale, slightly sweet, malty, then the finish adds a dry, bitter component to the sweeter start, creating some balance to the initial Scotch Ale impression. Mouthful is unctous leaving some sweet and some bitter on the palate - creme brulee with bitter orange. Overall a very interesting brew. The rye and the hops add a new, and pleasant dimension to what would otherwise be a somewhat familiar profile

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2017 Can, 21/05/17, US rating #300. Pours an auburn brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma is caramel, slight conifer, red fruit. Taste is caramel, some conifer, red fruit. Turns a bit deeper caramel and dried fruit-maltiness. Full. Alright, but rather one-sided and simple.

Jyrsa (837) - - APR 24, 2017
Can from Alko. Hazy medium brown with tan head. Red fruit, juniper, spruce, herbs, sweet malt. Quite sweet yet a bit bitter with red malt, herbs, some alcohol. Full body, sticky palate and light carbonation. Oddly unbalanced in my opinion.

JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Golden color with a smaller off-white head. Sweet and caramel covered grains. Scent of strong alcohol. Nutty and bitter. 5/12

mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 12, 2017
Can. Light amber, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light bread, light fruitiness, light - some citrus/herbal hoppyness with light notes of banryard. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish flavor, some caramel and light light bread with light fruitiness, light - some herbal hoppyness, faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light - some caramel and light brad with light fruitiness with light - some herbal hoppyness, light alcohol. Caramel sweetish with notes of bread. Weird and bit barnyard like herbal hoppyness

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2017
From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours an almost clear orangy amber with a small white head. Aroma has hops, orange, sweet malts, caramel, spicy rye. Taste is sweetish, but rye gives a hint of mint. rather bitter finish. Spicy. Medium full body and a light to medium carbonation.

Turboninja (763) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 29, 2017
[email protected], from Alko web store. Medium aroma with red berries and sweet malts. Deeper orange color with minimal organic white head and hazy liquid. Medium, averagely balanced, slightly bittersweet taste with some red berries, hops and malts. Dry-hopping clearly visible. Medium taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with malts and berries. Medium body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, despite slightly unbalanced touch, this one has a clear goal and with nice malty backbone. Still, bit light for the percentage.

minihame2 (642) - Oulu, FINLAND - JAN 27, 2017
Clear amber colour, frothy tan head. Bready aroma, syrup, molasses, a bit of rye. Slightly bitter taste, nice ale feel to it. Creamy mouthfeel, above medium body, low carbonation. Very nice strong ale.
