Looks like used motor oil with a nice khaki head. Aroma is mild, but had chocolate and fruit. Taste is roasted malt and chocolate. Nice creamy brew. Hair6a11 (1481) - Illinois, USA - NOV 25, 2013
Can; Pour is fairly murky brown with a one finger, fine bubbled khaki head into this glass. It poured more viscous than expected; frankly I wondered if this was really going to be a sweet stout but the abv puts it into the stout category, it seems. It retains on the average side, with some sticky lacing present here. The nose is mild vegetable, chocolate milk, cocoa bean, mild vanilla, with feint roast. The flavor profile is coffee, chocolate morsel, lactose, vanilla, with a fairly robust feeling - its roast dominant, however. This was a slight surprise - a nice offering from finch, nicer than most. Pours opaque, like motor oil with a thin dark tan head. Aroma is black olives, chocolaty malt and vanilla. Taste is sweet. Roasted malts, coffee bean and bitter chocolate. Nice medium body with almost no carbonation. Goes down very smooth. Overall a very sessionable stout with decent complexity in the nose and good flavor. Can @ Cypress St Pint & Plate: Murky black with a small, light-brown head. Earthy aroma with sugar and molasses and some sweet spices. It boasts an amazing complex flavor of choco-malt, root beer, vanilla and a slight hint of coffee. Thick, full body with sweet flavors and aftertaste. dhasmonek (38) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Very dark, motor oil with substantial head. Not too sweet but great flavor with vanilla and chocolate notes. Almost creamy and maybe a dessert beer.

Pours jet black with a thin mocha head. Aroma of roasty malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is roasty, chocolate, lactose, coffee and hop bitterness. Really nice mouthfeel, solid stout! kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 31, 2013
Can. Pours a clear flat black body with a small tight bubbled dark brown head that faded to a thin film. The nose is rather sweet and roasty with some nice dark chocolate notes, a touch of cola, and light burnt malt. The flavor is still a bit sweet but the roasted malt keeps it in check pretty well. Lots of milk chocolate flavor throughout, the vanilla adds a nice accent and enhances the sweetness. This is almost a dessert beer. Light to medium bodied with soft gentle carbonation and a lingering chocolaty finish. Nothing spectacular here, but a really solid easy drinking Sweet Stout. Thewade (340) - USA - OCT 30, 2013
Solid stout. Sweet and rich. Slight vanilla and slight coffee notes. Enjoyed this one. kermis (14478) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 23, 2013

Deliciously DARK. Very Balanced. A hint of everything but not overpowering and very sessionable. Delicious!
