47,3cl can from Alko, Helsinki. Pours very dark mahogany, close to black, with a beige head. Roasty and quite hoppy aroma with licorice, dark fruits, pine, some citrus and hints of herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with a quite pleasant mixture of hoppy and roasty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Easy to drink, well integrated alcohol and certainly enjoyable.

Medium/strong and balanced black IPA that combines nicely roasted and fruity flavors. Dark berries, dark chocolate, slightly roasted malts, some coffee and some earthy notes. Averagely hopped. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, good performer though a bit simple.

Can 1 pint. Pours a clear black with a deep burgundy red and a beige head. Amazing aroma, citrusy hops blending in with subtle roast. Medium body, discreet sweetness in the malt balanced out by a dry bitterness - but everything is so subtle and refined. One of the best Black IPAs Ive ever had. 291116 8/4/8/3/15

on draft that poured a dark brown but not quite opaque, nice malty nose with the hop accent. the flavor surprisingly was more wheat that I expected and blended with the hops it was very good. so good I had two. nicely blended between the roast and the hop. very good job.

1 pt can. (Alko) Tampere, Finland.
Black color with a big foamy tan head. Roasted malt, caramel, marmalade, mild hops and some licorice in the aroma. Doesn?t smell that fresh. No freshness information in the can. The distributor says it?s BB next June. That?s a lot for an IPA. It might be brewed in June this year... unfortunately. The flavor is roasted malt, licorice, salty licorice, dryness, some caramel sweetness and not-that-fresh hops. Some spicy and metallic notes there too. Maybe better when fresh?
