Pint can. What I really like about this ale is the aromatic and flavorful blend and balance of chocolate malt and piney resinous hops. Dark black with a tan head and medium body. At 8% this is a substantial black IPA in every sense. Exactly what I want in this style.

Købmandsgård. Pours deep opaque black with a large, staying creamy beige head. Aroma has fine citrussy hops, grapefruit, peach, mild chocolate and light roasted malts. Lowish carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has surprisingly dusty maltiness, very bitter. Roasted, coffee, cocoa. Fine citrussy bitterness. Quite a bit different black ipa. Very bitter, very dry.
Lata. Black colour, medium light brown head, good lacing. Roasty malty licorice hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavour: roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, hoppy piney fruity, good bitterness. Nice. Moebbels (835) - FINLAND - JUL 20, 2017
A pitch black beer with a nice brown head that leaves lacing on the glass. Hoppy nose with notes of resin, caramel and rye. Sweet flavor with a lingering bitter finish. Soft carbonation and full palate. Nice and balanced hefty BIPA.

Pours black with light beige head. A pretty beer. Aroma is roasted, pine, and fruity. Flavour is pine, roasted, fruity, medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Palme (4856) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2017
On tap @ Top Hops. This is a good looking one, deep dark brown in color and a nice sting chocolate brown head on the top. The aroma gives my a nice sharp hoppy essence. Its almost a little minty, hefty roasted and really grassy. Mint pastilles? Smells quite good. Its definitely well hooped. Soft roasted, softer than the aroma. Its nice and oily in the mouth and just above average on the relatively big carbonation bubbles. Delicious! 18.06.2015 Camons (13497) - Hasselager, DENMARK - APR 9, 2017
