COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! Well, maybe, we realize you will probably drink more, but the result of this recipe clearly evolves into a very balanced IPA. The grain bill on this big pale includes melanoidin and Victory malts. We hop it up before the boil starts with some Columbus first wort hopping, then add a bunch more for bittering.

Hazy orange, thin white head. Nose is orangey hops, some pine, caramel, pineapple. Flavor is orange, sought dank, pineapple, honey. Really nice but slightly cloying. Lighting bitterness.

Pours hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus, toast and floral. Taste is medium bitters and a touch of sweetness, the citrus shines through. Light to medium bodied with a smooth texture and crisp finish. Very refreshing and great at only 6% to drink a few.

Wonderful, cloudy, amber color. Firm body with average head. Hop aroma was fruity, but hop after taste was just bitter.

Bizarre. Somewhat resinous...some grain and florals...yet very harsh and soapy. Aftertaste is overkill and harsh. Lacks major balance

Transfer from BA review on 7-30-13- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – Served a very hazy orange colored brew with a one finger fizzy white head. The head fades rather fast but leaves a very nice level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is rather light overall. It dose however have some aromas of a grapefruit and pine nature as well as a bit of a bready and a lightly yeasty smell. Taste – The taste begins with some bready and a light caramel and orange flavor mixed with a rather strong grapefruit and pine hop flavor. As the flavor advances the caramel, orange, and some of the bready flavors dwindle, with the grapefruit getting stronger. While the grapefruit gets stronger the pine remains constant, but the two are joined by a grassy flavor which ends up overpowering the pine. In the end, as the sweetness lessens and the grassy and grapefruit get stronger, a rather bitter and more dry flavor is left on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is on the average side as well. The medium body and carbonation are quite appropriate for the lighter bready and sweet flavors of the brew keeping it a rather drinkable even with its more bitter grassy and grapefruit flavors. Overall – A rather nice drier, grapefruity bitter, and slightly grassy brew.

Pours an hazy amber reddish color. Nose is citrus and pine, with a tangerine and peach nose predominating, quite pleasant nose. Taste is all citrus with very heavy bitterness at first than settles down quite delightfully. Finish is moderately long with some sweetness. Nice ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

16oz can. Pours a very hazy golden amber qith a white head. Another below average for the style brew from Finch’s. Watery mouthfeel. Some slight pine and apricot notes, enough to make it drinkable but nothing great here.

Aroma of Pineapple, caramel, a little bit...minty? Lightly sweet flavor, modest bitterness on the finish, taste isn’t exactly world-shattering but a solid all-around IPA flavor. Good beer, most notable for being extremely cloudy with lots of floating sediment.
