COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! Well, maybe, we realize you will probably drink more, but the result of this recipe clearly evolves into a very balanced IPA. The grain bill on this big pale includes melanoidin and Victory malts. We hop it up before the boil starts with some Columbus first wort hopping, then add a bunch more for bittering.

1 pint can. Quite a full can. Hazy orange color. Good thick off-white head. Leaves good lace. Good smooth texture. Lighter carbonation. Medium body. Texture is more dry, but not too dry. Really nice fruity hoppy flavor. Light pine. Bigger citrus (orange). Light pepperiness. Good bitter taste, good citrus peel zest. Yup, this is a great IPA. Especially impressive flavor for the lower ABV.

Can. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a finger of thick white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and light pine. Taste is light bitter. Citrus and pine. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not too bad. Ive had some good beers from finch and this is another.

(16oz can thanks to Mora2000) clearish medium gold, lasting offwhite bubbled head with a ring around the edge. Nose is very fresh, orange pulp, agave, candy sugar, smells fantastic. Taste is a little syrupy, light grapefruit, caramel, bits of candied orange, the linger is pretty floral, well carbonated but medium thick syrupy body.

Draft at Tap House Grill in Cincinnati, served in a pint glass. Pours a fairly cloudy gold color with a small white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops, sweet malts, fresh cut herbs, and a bit of tropical fruit. Flavor of tangerine, lemon, sweet malts, herbs, and pine. Light-medium bodied, with a juicy, resinous mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Really well done IPA. Easy to drink. Goes with everything. Enjoyed this.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a cloudy orange with sticky white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; a blend of citrus and bitter hops with nice balance and a good mouthfeel. A solid example of the style.

Nice hazy orange pour with a solid, lingering off-white head. Aroma of honey, orange rind and resin. Really nice flavor. The way that the honey-like malt sweetness/resin balance out early on is really well done. A nice clean citrus finish follows. Tasty, very drinkable IPA.

Lightly hazed orange pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma of caramel malt and resiny hops. Caramel malt, bread, and resiny hop bitter. Medium body with good carbonation.

It’s a solid local IPA in Chicago. Pours a nice dark orange color with a frothy white head that leaves some moderate lacing. You can smell lots of citrus and floral hops upfront but it has a bit of yeasty malt to it as well. Taste is not overly bitter or hoppy and is well balanced. Very tasty local beer worth drinking and enjoying.

Bottle to glass. Pours a clear rich amber color with a decent size light tan head with heavy lacing. Aroma is a pleasant combination of light citrus and fleshy fruits intermixed with a light caramel malt. Taste is moderately bitter decently balanced with a malty fleshy fruit sweetness. Light bitterness and sweetness linger in finish. Solid IPA.
