COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Threadless/Finch collaboration IPA is a balanced experience of both perceived hoppiness and true bitterness. It pours a darker amber color and finishes with a citrus flavor, and when combined, will require this to be the last IPA you ever drink! Well, maybe, we realize you will probably drink more, but the result of this recipe clearly evolves into a very balanced IPA. The grain bill on this big pale includes melanoidin and Victory malts. We hop it up before the boil starts with some Columbus first wort hopping, then add a bunch more for bittering.

Pours hazy amber with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus, toast and floral. Taste is medium bitters and a touch of sweetness, the citrus shines through. Light to medium bodied with a smooth texture and crisp finish. Very refreshing and great at only 6% to drink a few.

From a can poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Strong hoppy flavor with a lasting aftertaste.

1 pint can courtesy of agl108. A hazy rust pour with a thick and creamy antique white head. Lots of pine, grapefruits, oranges, citrus rinds, and caramel in the aroma. A sizable roasty maltiness comes out as things warm up a bit. Goes down medium to full-bodied. Loads of sweet caramel maltiness upfront taste-wise that only intensifies as things warm up. There is a big earthy graininess in the middle. Some citrus rinds and grapefruits at the bitter end. A well-balanced IPA.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2013 5/24/13 update - Found this locally at Otto’s in pint cans. Still good, nicely aromatic. My recall likes the tap version slightly better. 4/19/13 on tap @ Balzac - Reddish amber, slightly cloudy, pillowy head. Aromas of grapefruit and orange citrus, along with baked bread maltiness. Mouthfeel has some real substance from the malt wrapped in a well balanced citrusy hop cloak. Very drinkable, satisfying and somewhat unique profile.

Pours orange with white head and some lacing. Aroma of grapefriut and citrus hops. Taste is bitter with citrus, pine, and grassy hops. Sole dish water too. Dry finish.

Pounder->SA. Hazy orange with small white head. A: sweet fruity hops. T: sweet hops, citrus, orange, pineapple. Bittersweet aftertaste. Sweetness and depth of an imperial IPA, though not a great one.

Fresh can from Lizardville. Mild grapefruit flavour, very drinkable, balanced. Some head on grapefruit coloured body.

16 oz can. Pours orange with a one finger white head. Minor lace. Aroma is orange zest & pine. Orange & pine is repeated in the flavor. Around the middle of the glass you pick up some biscuit flavor. Medium bodied with a soft easy to drink palate. New to New Hampshire & I’ll have to check out some of their other brews.

HonusWagner (2168) - Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Aroma of Pineapple, caramel, a little bit...minty? Lightly sweet flavor, modest bitterness on the finish, taste isn’t exactly world-shattering but a solid all-around IPA flavor. Good beer, most notable for being extremely cloudy with lots of floating sediment.

bucs572000 (237) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Poured from a 16oz can. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, citrus, and caramel. Flavors are pine, grapefruit, orange peel, and caramel. Very well balanced beer, the hops are nice and dank though, not to bitter for 90 ibus. Well done balanced Ipa.
