Received an early release 12-oz bottle from the brewery, pours a clear golden pale yellow colored brew with an average sized off-white head that slowly dissipates to a cream top and white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light spicy hops, a hint of tart pear and some honey. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, multiple floral hops, some very faint citrus and tart pear. Finish slightly dry, a short lived mild bitterness and then a crisp golden grain aftertaste. tone77 (256) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Pours a light golden color. Smell is of malts, biscuits, Taste is malty, bready, a touch of hops. Overall a refreshing summer beer. badgerben (5131) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Cloudy gold color with a large head. Light candi sugar aroma and a bit of skunk. Skunky seems to build in the flavor. Heavy on the corn, possibly some wheat. bluemooner (657) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - JUN 20, 2012
Pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is grain, bread, and floral notes. Flavor is more of the same with mild resin and fruity notes. Light body with high carbonation. Not bad. BeerKurve (520) - - NOV 18, 2012
Dark Yellow Straw Color. Flavor is very basic with Yeasts, Barley and Malts; Surprising considering that it smells like a cardboard/corny adjunct lager. The palate is very heavily carbonated, way too strong for my liking, so much so that it gets in the way of enjoying the flavor. It also gives the impression of a heavy bodied ale when it really isn’t. It’s a decent tasting lager that’s grounded by some palate issues, fix the carbonation and this would be an awesome beer.

Pale golden color, off-white head. Nice, if a bit subtle, aroma. Light taste. Easy drinking and refreshing. Crisp. Low-ish ABV makes this a great summer hanging out in the back yard beer. With a blonde ale, you should know what you are getting, and not down-rate it because it is not heavier or hoppier… light, crisp, refreshing, not bitter. Nice example of the style. Pours a clear lemon gold with a thin layer of frothy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is a mix of cereal and bread, floral notes. Flavor is a light resin note, with grains and a hint of sugar. Body is light with high carbonation. BVery (10328) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Bottle. Effervescent gold pour with a pure white head. Mostly grain on the nose and taste with a touch of sweetness as well. WisconsinBeer (716) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Bottle. Clear yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Light, easy sipping, crisp. Pretty unassuming beer, a step above the macros. Would go well in a pitcher while eating pizza or tossing some darts. MadShaolin (100) - - MAR 3, 2015
Grains, bread, light honey smell. Finished slightly bitter with low hop aromas. Well attenuated and crisp.
