Enjoy the brightness of this cider, made from heirloom and organic dessert apples, blended with the elegant sweetness and subtle delights of organic pear. A timeless taste of the orchard.

Editor’s note: this is a base apple cider, then pastorized and flavored with pear juice afther fermentation, therefore not a perry.

Sampled at the 2017 McKenzie Cider and Craft Beer Festival. A Pear Cider, not a Perry. What do I know?

Draft 8 oz pour at Hi Fi. Clear light golden pour with no head. Rating #1997. The same year my youngest brother was born. Spends his days now serving in the Air Force now, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I’ll dedicate a rating to him, since it’s the absolute least I can do. Hope to come to Germany and visit you soon bud. And drink good beer while I’m there. You will turn 21 while you are there, and your first beer is on me. As for the cider, soft apple and sweet mixed fruit aroma. Flavor is candy sweet. Sugary pear and apple. Mostly clean finish, with a candy linger. Overall a good cuder, but a bit on the sweet side.

Sampled at Finnriver, pours a clear blonde with a no head. Aroma brings out juicy pears and apples. Flavour brings out medium sweet pears, farmhouse notes, and light acidity. Excellent stuff.

Bottle from the cidery.

Clear yellow pour. Aroma is more apple cider and less pear than I expected, but now I realize this is a cider not a perry. Apples have that Finnriver character, but added is a juicy pear element that is hinted at in the aroma but comes on in full in the flavor. I’d prefer it a bit drier and bit brighter, but it’s very good and super accessible.

On tap at NAOBF. Pours a clear yellow color with a bubble or two. The aroma is big sweet oaky pears. The flavor is sweet pears, but the overall experience is a dry mellow but big cider, light green apple, a but of sweet ripe pear. Very good.

Bottle at winery
Blond color with large bubbles. Apple and white wine aroma. Semi-dry, light apple flavor and mild acidity. The pear maybe adds a touch.

On draught at hub biketobeer fest 2013 - pours clear golden color - little head. Nose of tart fruit, apple. Mouthfeel highly carbonated. Taste of tart pear and apple cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500. Pours a clear medium amber with virtually no head and a fair few bubbles. Big sweet pear nose, almost buttery, with a little acidic bite. Creamy sweet body, very sugary, minimal carb, not much acid. Tastes like real fruit in good shape to be sure, but kind of in a sweetened kids juice kinda way. Pleasant for sure though.

This is a great desert cider or hot weather refreshment. Would definitely drink it again!

Draft at the Pine Box, Seattle. Clean yellow, quite sweet and tart. Nice pear mellowing. Slightly over sweet for me.
