good color, nice malt, smooth taste, subtle hops, a little smokey, the keg was a bit flat at Meehans in Long Island but I graded on what I thought the beer could be...opted for something that was drinkable than a heavy Guiness on St Pat’s Day to go with heavy food and was rewarded...a dependable beer...
12 oz bottle. Carmel biscuit light sweet
Mild carbonation. Should rate again after a proper pour. But good at an event. trapped (3599) - New York, TURKEY - APR 8, 2017
Bottle (from notes). Pours rich yellow with small foamy white head, grassy hops aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter malty taste, thin body, medium finish. Easy to drink, but nothing special. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2015
Bottle. Straight ale. Light caramel, some biscuit. Medium in every area. Fits in any setting with any food. Solid.

Pour is hazy amber, no head. Nose is stale grain. Little sweet. Middle is vague soft fruit and malt. Finish dries slightly. Where is the rest of this beer? Foxbush (2113) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAY 28, 2015
12 oz bottle The ale poured a clear amber with small head and no lacing. The sweet aroma of caramel malts and grain greet you. The ale has a medium body with soft carbonation. This is an easy drinking beer with a smooth finish.

Minimal head, color is a nice amber color. Aroma is light, very mild hop, but nice caramel and malt. Light carbonation. Flavor is light hops, with some really nice burnt caramel, sweet finish. justabeergeek (269) - Albany, New York, USA - DEC 24, 2012
The Fire Island Lighthouse Ale pours a light, transparent brown with a slight white head that disappears quickly. The nose is light malts and a bit of mustiness and a touch of sweetness. It drinks like a macro lager, certainly not a pale ale (maybe an amber). Mild sweetness is here, but nothing interesting. dredmond (179) - Long Island, New York, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Drank from draft in pint glass, mild aroma, cloudy appearance, not much effect on palette, light ale flavor

Pours bright transparent orange, with a smallish head. Very mild, slightly malty aroma. Flavor brings a bigger hop profile, but it remains very mild. Sessionable and tasty.
