One finger of tan head. Pitch black body.
The smell is a faint roasted malt and chocolate.
The taste is good and interesting. Roasted malt, bread, chalk, chocolate and powder.
Low carbonation and medium to thicker body.
It is a good stout with a little different taste, which is good. dwm1034 (785) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 6, 2012

Bottle. Pours a somewhat thin almost-black color with very little head. Definitely strong roasting notes to the nose. Taste has a bit of bitterness to it, which I thought was a little unexpected. Roasting comes through in the taste as well. Fairly light and easy to drink, too. robforbes (2266) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - NOV 3, 2012

Bomber. Poured nearly black with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma was heavily roasted malt, some coffee and chocolate. Flavor was very roasty malt, notes of slightly bitter coffee, milk chocolate. A bit ashy and astringent. Very drinkable and tasty. Slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. RmmHronek (170) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - OCT 12, 2012
It has a really pleasant nose, full of roast, alcohol, dark fruit, biscuit, and molasses. The flavor is nice with notes of vanilla, roast, and molasses, but it gives way to a cloying bitterness, like tannins from eating walnuts. idedek (157) - USA - AUG 29, 2012
A nice a mild aroma with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. A medium to light body with a sweet and slightly malty finish. reebtogi (6378) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 21, 2012
650ml bomber pours black on color with 2 fingers of light beige head that left some hefty lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark roasted malts with hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt and coffee bitterness with some chocolate malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness at the end. Medium to heavy body with decent carbonation. This is just a delightful stout and it was a pleasure to have been able to sample this gem. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 5, 2012
Pours dark black. About a finger of light tan head. Smells rich and ashy, bit of coffee. Taste is burnt and malty, very smokey. Bit of coffee on the tail. Very, very drinkable. Good stout.
