Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, earth, bread, some trash, touch of sour grain, some slight fruit notes. The beer appears dark ruby to copper hued with a wispy beige head. Aromas of piney hops, sweet fruits, biscuit. Similar flavor with sweet and bitter flavors doing a delicate dance. Growler poured a clear dark reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, pipe tobacco, light tea and a hint of fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of toffee, earthiness, light carmel and a hint of fuittiness with a smooth dry lingering earthy finish.
