Admission: I was sent the bottle for review. And these sat in my fridge for a while before I could get to them to note their availability in Illinois. But the pilsener here came through okay. I caught a slight note of oxidation in the nose, but that came with the slight pepper of noble hops. A light slightly biscuity malt flavor, clearly no adjuncts. Hop bitterness trickles down the back of my palate and hovers for just a minute or so. A decently done pilsener that hews to the style rather than over-hopping.

Bomber, Kroger, Rio Hill. Pours clear golden with a tiny head. Smells of wet dog, grass, light honey. Flavor is bland grass, grain, light cardboard, glue. Theres nothing to this. Boring and plain. Flat too.

Atom (2387) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 21, 2017
12oz bottle pours a clear golden with a large white head. Light grainy beery malt aroma, honey, and stale earthy hop spice. Oddly sweet almost tart grain honey malt hits really bitter almost sour grassy hops. I dont understand what is going on here, its just all over the place out of any balance.

Easy drinking enough, moderate carbonation, tiny spice bite. I like firefighters.

12 ounce bottle from a friend. Hazed gold with a white head of foam. Grainy, toasty honey notes in the aroma. Sweet and doughy in the taste. High carbonation. Prickly mouthfeel. Medium body.

BlackHaddock (7092) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2016
12oz bottle on 26th May 2016 while on holiday at my daughters in California. Slight haze to my blonde, weak white head. Corn or grain like feel to both the nose and taste, not a great beer to be honest, fairly bland and uninteresting.

12 oz bottle. Pale golden, thin white head, minimal lace.
Grainy malt aroma, light grassy hops.
Flavor is sweet bready malt, grassy hops, slight spicy bitterness. Refreshing summer brew. Not very complex, but this style isnt supposed to be.

Very nice blond with decent flavor for a light style ale. Not my cup of tea, but a good version. Bottle

Aroma of mild permanent hair treatment. Pale yellow. Some medium mild bitterness but then it has some hay in there too. Probably more like a cheaper light pale lager in many respects. Easy drinken, not bad.

Rubber, yeast, grain aroma. Hazy golden, thin head. Malt, some fusel alcohol, beans. Light body, fizzy.
