UPDATED: OCT 29, 2016 On draft nitro at Lost Dog in McLean. Probably the most beautiful pour I have seen. Clear gold, transitioning to creamy amber, topped off white a thick ecru head. Toffee aroma. Flavors of oak and vanilla. Fairly light bodied to match abv but lots of flavor.

Caramel color. White head. Smells like old wood. Taste is mild malt. Very middle of the road smooth beer with a very light snappy finish. Low carbonation.

Pours a clear, blood orange appearance, lively carbonation, slightly malt forward with fruity, citrusy aroma, refreshing palate with clean finish. Solid beer from a solid brewery.

On tap at Memphis taproom. Outstanding beer - malty with a little bitterness and a smooth oaky character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(On Nitro at the Brewery for Firestone Walker Invitational) clear deep copper, excellent lacing and offwhite head retention. Nose of oak, fruit, sawdust, fresh grain, German hops and smells really fresh. Taste of oak, lightly toasted dark break, a bit fruity (plums and other dark fruits), creamy, medium creamy body and nice linger on the palate.
