Dark opaque ruby color, steady beige head. Vanilla dominates the aroma, maybe some dark fruits too. Medium to full-bodied. Very mellow, covers alcohol completely. Sweetish, vanilla. Very complex and pleasant. I like really much of these anniversary brews. chrisv10 (17312) - DENMARK - MAY 10, 2013

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark near-black with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma is odd, with coconut, some weird vegetal notes, dark fruits and chocolate. Flavour is very complex, with sweet dark dried fruits, roasted malt, brown sugar and a bit of that vegetal note detected on the nose that slightly detracts. Quite complex and well-blended – we’ll see if my subsequent bottle has that same vegetal quality. All in all, still great, but not one of my favourites of FW’s anniversary beers. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 9, 2013
On tap at Firestone Walker Barrelworks. It’s a dark brown beer, with a beige head. Alcohol, caramel, dried fruits and sweetness on the nose. Sweet on the palate, warming and full bodied. Nice carbonation level. Lots of dried fruits and caramel in the flavor. Some bitterness. Lasting finish. Overall, too warming, but certainly nice. 130809 jtclockwork (16444) - , New Jersey, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Bottle picked up by Jay for me. Thanks Jay! Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of rich chocolate, oak, vanilla cream, creme brulee, caramel toffee, honey, mocha and light florals. Also minor notes of rye, flaked oats, sticky caramel candy and tequila and brandy barrels. Well balanced. Great complexity. Finishes with a hint of warming brandy alcohol and bright tequila citrus. Another homerun in the Firestone Walker anniversary series and probably the most complex offering to date. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Dark brown in color with a small khaki head. Intense vanilla, bourbon, and wood notes. Sweet milk chocolate, dark fruits such as raisins and dates, and a bit of alcohol, caramel, and toffee. Surprisingly smooth and drinkable on the palate. Lots of milk chocolate, toffee, and caramel. There’s a good amount of bourbon, oak, and vanilla. Some dark fruit sweetness, a bit of cocoa, and a mild roasted malt. Dedollewaitor (16056) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2013
