On tap at Pinocchio’s. Chestnut brown pour with amber hue. No head or lacing. Hugely sweet candied sugar aroma. Molasses and maple flavor that I wasn’t hugely fond of. Some candy, some cocoa. It’s complex, I’ll give it that. Overall, a tad disappointing becaus I love just about everything FW. rxeight (3281) - Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2017

Backlog, acquired from a trade. Deep, viscous reddish brown with thin beige head. Packed with vanilla, oak, caramel, dried fruit. Rich and strong with a touch of boozy bourbon. Spectacular. BVery (11390) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 5, 2017
Bomber shared by Tom - thanks! This is bad ass, as expected. So complex. Deep ruby brown pour with a rocky head. Raisin, bourbon, wood, and about a zillion other things - but it's not muddled. Another great one. Ungstrup (38587) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2017
Bottled. A red-brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt bourbon, vanilla, wood, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of vanilla, wood, alcohol, bourbon, caramel, and malt, leading to a burning finish.

- very dark brown to black with beige head. Lots of dark dried fruit with a sweet malty backing with lots of caramel and toffee, some rich dark dried fruit shred, touch of bourbon soaked wooden accents into the close.

Deep amberish brown under a thin light tan head. Lovely nose of brown malty roastiness with brown sugary oak and vanilla and bourbon. Smooth soft but full and warming flavor that's woody and cocoa'd and bourbonish. Nice vanilla and smooth and dark and chocolaty-ish with Barleywine like notes.
