On tap at Barrelworks. It pours black with a foamy tan head. The aroma is strong with clove and allspice. Smells more like a pumpkin beer than anything else. A little cocoa. The flavor has hints of cherry, wood, and lots of allspice and clove that I’m guessing comes from the spiced cherry bitters. A little sweet cocoa in the background. I was expecting more of a cherry forward beer and got more of a spiced beer. Meh. bytemesis (9811) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - APR 10, 2017
