14.1 at barrelworks. I liked both the single barrel variations better than the bottled product. sweet, woodsie, earthy, strong yet still very smooth. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - JUL 26, 2013
26 July 2013, tap at Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buelton, CA. Brown and faintly hazy. Nose is awesome! Fruitcake, heavy in raisins and nuts. Thin, syrupy body, fairly fizzy. Delicious sugary goodness! Molasses, raisins, walnuts, syrup. Awesome!

Bottle - Oak, whiskey, caramel and vanilla notes. Clear copper with a thin head. Caramel, bourbon, vanilla with a boozy burn. So very nice and balanced.

On tap. Pours with a hazed nearly brown hued body with a small tan head that fades. Aromas are fudgy, oak, vanillin, raisins and dark fruit. Flavors are all barrel, elegant, toasty, deep caramel intertwined with complex oak. Full bodied, well hidden alcohol, creamy carbonation. DesertDevil (699) - Arizona, USA - FEB 28, 2013
On tap at World of Beer - Tempe. Beautiful muddy brown color with a thin white cap. Huge boozy aroma with luscious wet oak tones, and toffee. Flavor is bourbon forward with an extremely smooth blend of caramel, toffee, and leather; fantastic subtle, oaky finish without an overpowering woodiness. Velvety body. The four years in barrels has sublimely smoothed out any rough edges on this decadent treat. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Brown pour, small head. All bourbon, toasted oak, loads of toffee, caramel, brown sugar...decadent and awesome. JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - FEB 20, 2013
A great version of double DBA with lots of caramel goodness. This barrel version is simply an even tastier version of double DBA. So good! brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Dark amber pour with no head and minimal carbonation. Intense oak aroma, a lot of alcohol, and tons of malty sweetness. Big caramel, toffee, and dark fruit notes. Hints of chocolate, vanilla, and brown sugar. There’s an interesting spice flavor to the beer, almost nutmeg-like. Lots of oak flavors, caramel, toffee, and rich dark fruits. A little bit boozy, but nice otherwise.
