Bottle, from US. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating. beer-yum (1950) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 4, 2017
Restrained aroma in an amber copper pour. Similarly laid back hop forward balance with a fruity malt body and moreish finish. Just like it says on the tin? ALLOVATE (3086) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 30, 2017
At just on cool and into a nonic. Bright, burnished amber body with very sparse, very intermittent carbonation. Head rises forth but fades to mess up the glass with suds. Nose has hints of tangelo, mandarin, rose petals and Anzac biscuits. Considerably light on the palate. Thinner than anticipated, especially for an ESB. Prominent, tangy orange flavour with a sharp Burton snatch on the swallow before it fades off woody and floral; very little bitterness to break it up. Dry overall with prickly carbonation upfront, softening to still as it moves south. Very clean, but lacking in unique character. I did like it though. Drinks with remarkable ease.

355ml bottle into shaker. Crystal clear golden marmalade coloured beer with two finger creamy head and light fine carbonation. Nose light malt and toast. Taste is smoky malts, a little spritz on the tongue. Smooth texture. Finish is more toast with a little vanilla and woody dryness. Good bitter, very drinkable.

330ml bottle. Pours clear brown with medium white head. Aroma of malt, oak, earth, hops. Medium body with soft carbonation. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter. Bittersweet finish. varanid99 (1399) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 26, 2017
Amber with a decent white head. Malt and oak on the nose, not a lot else for me. Taste is malty, sweetish, a bit earthy, a bit of bitterness (but not much). A little disappointing given their blurb... javiercrasher (703) - Granada, SPAIN - JUL 25, 2017
Malta, toffee, fruta madura y ese clásico lupulado floral de las cervezas inglesas. Espuma mínima. Muy buena y muy clásica. Canned 07/08/2016 Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 23, 2017
Can bought at Piccadilly Tap. The noisy pour reveals a fawn-coloured head and a bright dark amber body. Minimal lacing. Dark spiced fruity nose. Mixed taste of wood, leafy hops and earthy malts. Bittersweet finish, dry. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing. (Hotel Room, Norwich 07.07.2017). beskid (406) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2017
Clear amber, nice large head. Aroma is malty with clear oak. Taste is medium sweet, malty, some light herbal-floral notes, boring. Nice oak in the tannin finish, though.
