A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #6: Pours slight cloudy with a lacing white head. Wet cardboard and light spiced aroma. Flavour is light fruity with a mild oxidised note. Light bitterness and mild fruit note into the finish. A bit dull in the far finish. Light cornish touch.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2008 An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light caramelic notes. The flavor is sweet caramelic combined with quite a lot of alcohol - surprising for such a low ABV beer, the flavor is also slighlty dusty. Too simple, which makes it somewhat boring.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2004 Bottled. Clear dark amber, rich head. Big toffee aroma. Sweet, soft and rounded with oak and caramel dominating. More focused on malt flavours than hops, which is scarce among American microbrewers. Very pleasant!

Light haze on this amber beer. Small pale cream coloured head. Light palate, mild minerally crispness. Lactose malt, lesser caramel. Whisper of dried fruits. Minerally crisp finish, semi dry. Disappointingly dull.

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 25, 2008
(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, amber golden with tiny, floating impurities and a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of overripe fruit and caramel. Medium-bodied with notes of caramel and overripe fruit. Dry, clean finish with only a discreet bitterness. Nice and quaffable. 190408
