Bottle 335ml, a clear copper beer with low head. Nose is intense on blonde caramel, touch of candied orange. Aroma is on caramel, toasted caramel, candied fruit, hints of barrel but with less complex body.

Bottle @ Xi’an Craft Beer Festival. Pours a clear amber with a small white head and little lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, bread and toasted oak, Sweet flavour caramel malt, dried fruit, vanilla and toasted oak with a slightly bitter grass finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad. pachecoweld (10) - California, USA - JAN 23, 2017
Slight citrus on the nose at first, but then a more caramel and oak scent following. Color is light copper. The taste starts with a slight hop bite but the caramel, vanilla sweetness comes in but lightly and finishes with a dry oaky bitterness in the end. Medium carbonation. Very easy to drink, especially for myself just getting into craft beer. Goes well with a burger, steak or all on its own. ninecats (528) - Uddevalla, SWEDEN - JAN 23, 2017
Draught at Haymarket By Scandic hotel, Stockholm, Sweden. Dark clear golden with an off white head. Aroma is pretty meh, faint notes of malt and caramel, slight bread and slight grassy note. Taste is balanced, but that’s it really. Starts with bready notes, slight crackers, dough, grassy dry finish. Light to medium body, medium carbo. Nah, though balanced and drinkable but low on flavours. bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 16, 2017
355ml bb03/2017, Braufactum coopted via Maruhn. - Bref: pleasantly balanced, oddly motivated golden ESB with the instant crushability of a Kölsch. Vanilla, biscuit and toffee looming large as natural noble barley offshoots underneath the surface. Perfumed with Goldings. Professional restraint of a Kölsch gravity poured from oak, as if turbo barrel-conditioned. Considering its US-by-UK pedigree, it fit right into Braufactum’s odd hit-and-miss international portfolio composed of always slightly less than typical national beer styles. ciocanelu (2463) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JAN 15, 2017
Dark golden color with beige head. Aroma is really faint, just of hint of caramelized malt. Taste leans towards a helles, malty and grainy at first, light hop character on the finish. Light, effervescent body. Overall it’s a mediocre ale.
