COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Cant be done. Weve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. Youre left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Ruby brown, slight whiske-ish aroma. Dry hoppiness. Taste is very smooth, vanilla and mild carbonation. Crisp oaky hop finish. Much milder than american hop experience. Nice earthiness. Slight sweetness on the lips. Doesnt get me too excited about the style, but this was very well done.

Aroma a bit ripe out the bottle. Pours nicely for pale ale, with a light smooth head. Lovely classic British body...hazy auburn hue with a carbonated cascading fizziness. The finish is not as robust and full as I am accustomed to with old school BPAs. Still it has a distinct oakiness that reminds me of olde England pubs I frequented as a youth... a solid ale!

(Draught at Haymarket, Stockholm, 31 Jan 2017) Reddish amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, toffee, chocolate and orange peel. Malty taste with notes of caramel, toffee, orange peel, chocolate and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Keg @ Globen Star, Stockholm. Clear mahogany, small tanned head. Pretty faint aroma, woody, caramel, grass and hay. Light and clean mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Mild grassy bitter taste, caramel, bread and biscuits. Not too much going on here.
