COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Cant be done. Weve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. Youre left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Bubbly white head leaves a nice lacing behind. Orange amber colored beer smells of oak and malt. Nice balanced sweetness and hops on the palate. Good job Firestone/Walker!!!!

Slight citrus on the nose at first, but then a more caramel and oak scent following. Color is light copper. The taste starts with a slight hop bite but the caramel, vanilla sweetness comes in but lightly and finishes with a dry oaky bitterness in the end. Medium carbonation. Very easy to drink, especially for myself just getting into craft beer. Goes well with a burger, steak or all on its own.

Draught at Haymarket By Scandic hotel, Stockholm, Sweden. Dark clear golden with an off white head. Aroma is pretty meh, faint notes of malt and caramel, slight bread and slight grassy note. Taste is balanced, but thats it really. Starts with bready notes, slight crackers, dough, grassy dry finish. Light to medium body, medium carbo. Nah, though balanced and drinkable but low on flavours.

bartlebier (3633) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 16, 2017
355ml bb03/2017, Braufactum coopted via Maruhn. - Bref: pleasantly balanced, oddly motivated golden ESB with the instant crushability of a Klsch. Vanilla, biscuit and toffee looming large as natural noble barley offshoots underneath the surface. Perfumed with Goldings. Professional restraint of a Klsch gravity poured from oak, as if turbo barrel-conditioned. Considering its US-by-UK pedigree, it fit right into Braufactums odd hit-and-miss international portfolio composed of always slightly less than typical national beer styles.

Dark golden color with beige head. Aroma is really faint, just of hint of caramelized malt. Taste leans towards a helles, malty and grainy at first, light hop character on the finish. Light, effervescent body. Overall its a mediocre ale.

Apparence : Orange, limpide, carbonatation douce, lger col blanc cass rtention moyenne, lgre dentelle.

[email protected] Pours clear reddish amber with lazing beige head. Aroma is malty with light bread, caramel, biscuit, grain and fruity notes and slightly grassy. Taste is semi-sweet malty with biscuit, caramel, fruity notes and distinct grainy with hay and grass. Finish is balanced malty and dry.

Bottle: Deep golden, a bit unclear, smaller and quite stable off-white foamy layer; mild, distinctive english hops in the dryish fruity-malty nose; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering dry hoppy-fruity and bready-malty finish. Archetypal "anglo-saxon" beer, moreish...

Malty and bread scents. Pours a lovely clean brown with rose notes, a big thick off-white head. Tons of lacing. A nice chalky malty bitter with flavors of leather and wood. Short finish with mild carbonation. Very tasty.

Nice full aroma. Good mouthfeel and taste. Lasting aftertaste. But 3.2 is high enough.
