COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Cant be done. Weve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. Youre left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Pours with nice amber color and creamy head. Smell of nice malts with sweet roast almost. Not much for hops, but great medium beer across the palate. Great malts, caramel in this one. From a bottle. Good beer.

Keg at CBC St Mary Axe. Ruby brown and clear with a decent off-white head. Metallic aroma with some forest floor. Sweet malty taste but ultimately lacking direction. Decent enough brew but too many nods to UK and Belgian influences to be an original recipe.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Spore rozczarowanie. Zwykle komercyjne brytyjskie Bittery potrafia byc bardziej gozkie niz to piwo.

I wasnt too impressed with this ESB on nitro at World of Beer in Exton. The DBA had a big, pillowy beige head with some sticky lacing. Obviously the body was smooth and drinkable being on a nitro draft. But the beer was very low on flavor. I tasted some light hops, caramel malt, oak and vanilla. But they were all very subtle and just not present enough.

0.355 l bottle from EDEKA Preller (Breckerfeld), bottled in March 2016. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, grains, some straw and a touch of nuts. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy-spicy taste of caramel, nuts, some straw and grains, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, quite quaffable, but not that interesting.
