COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Cant be done. Weve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. Youre left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular

Light Amber color, nice frothy head. Head didnt last long. A little sweet to the taste buds. Not much of a finish. Could be a very good hot weather beer but unfortunately we have snow. Revisit this one again when spring arrives.

12 oz. can, from the variety pack. Pours dark copper, with a big, frothy, beige head. Brown sugar and unsweetened coconut, oak, musty earth, and raisins. Malty, but not that sweet, with a sharp bitterness. Medium body, hard, grainy, and sticky. This is an aggressive and relatively harsh beer, but it grew on me. Quite tasty.

On nitro at Sly McFlys. Not much aroma due to the nitro, mild spice flavours, minimal hop profile.

From the 2016 J Webb 12 beers of Christmas box. Excellent. Medium brown, clear. Nice hoppy bitterness and balanced malt flavor. Complex. Enjoyed.

Keg at CBC St Mary Axe. Ruby brown and clear with a decent off-white head. Metallic aroma with some forest floor. Sweet malty taste but ultimately lacking direction. Decent enough brew but too many nods to UK and Belgian influences to be an original recipe.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Spore rozczarowanie. Zwykle komercyjne brytyjskie Bittery potrafia byc bardziej gozkie niz to piwo.

I wasnt too impressed with this ESB on nitro at World of Beer in Exton. The DBA had a big, pillowy beige head with some sticky lacing. Obviously the body was smooth and drinkable being on a nitro draft. But the beer was very low on flavor. I tasted some light hops, caramel malt, oak and vanilla. But they were all very subtle and just not present enough.

Bottle from broadcast glasgow. Pours clear Amber. Nose of Mandarin, pine resin, honey, forest floor. Taste is tropical fruit, toffee, caramel malts. Ridiculous finish, long, floral, loads more fruits.
