3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tastes of oak, diluted vanilla, toasted wheat. There’s a mellow earthiness to the beer that is reminiscent of mulch or shaved bark. With that said, it’s also relatively similar to the body of Sam Adams’ Boston Lager. Of course this ale has a more distinct, edgy flavor than the aforementioned brew. Decent in a pinch, with its amber color and subdued hoppiness, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
Malta, toffee, fruta madura y ese clásico lupulado floral de las cervezas inglesas. Espuma mínima. Muy buena y muy clásica. Canned 07/08/2016 Rune (12795) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 23, 2017
Can bought at Piccadilly Tap. The noisy pour reveals a fawn-coloured head and a bright dark amber body. Minimal lacing. Dark spiced fruity nose. Mixed taste of wood, leafy hops and earthy malts. Bittersweet finish, dry. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing. (Hotel Room, Norwich 07.07.2017). beskid (134) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2017
Clear amber, nice large head. Aroma is malty with clear oak. Taste is medium sweet, malty, some light herbal-floral notes, boring. Nice oak in the tannin finish, though. BrewBroFla (20) - - JUL 15, 2017
A very fresh British Pale Ale. The Firestone Union oak barrels give this beer a very refined and taste that most will enjoy and appreciate. Nice mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with a hint of English noble hops. EvNa (337) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 11, 2017
Bottle. Color: Amber, off-white head. Taste: Starting more to the medium sweet side, with notes of caramel and bread. Wuickly changing more to the hopbitter side. Floral hops. Pretty long lasting bitter spicy finish with dry mouthfeel.
Nice ESB. Above medium carbonation and body.

Pours almost ruby red with medium head. Aroma: a lot of toasty aroma, followed by caramel, dried fruit but also floral aroma. Taste: caramel and a touch of dried fruit nicely balanced by the hoppy bitterness. Vey nice drinkable stuff. ghostbeer (215) - Nebraska, USA - JUN 23, 2017
Light amber in color. Some subtle earthiness going on, but really not much else. Literally tasted like nothing. Disappointing. Fisler (547) - Bamberg, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2017
Can. Clear amber with an average off white head that leaves nice lacing as it shrinks. Aroma is caramel, bread, and floral hops. Taste is toffee, sticky citrus and floral hops, caramel and mild bitterness. Average thickness for the style and sticky on the finish. shawnmurphy (495) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2017
12-ounce bottle pours clear orange-amber with no head. Aroma: not much, but a faint nuttiness and sweetness. Flavor: honey, brown sugar, plums, biscuit, some campfire. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied, almost oily.
