Tap at City Beer. Pours with a hazy dirty brown color. Nice aromas of wood and leather. Flavors exhibit some alcohol hotness but also some nice notes of toastiness and wood. In addition there is some caramel and butterscotch. A complex beer that is more subtle than most bourbon barrel aged beers. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 9, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2012 On Tap at Blue Palms. Small tan head over a beautiful hazed amber body. Lightly hoppy with a few dark fruits and some toffee. Taste is rich with toffee, cherry, plum, and coconut milk. Silky mouthfeel. Light bubbles...great. 3.9 bb (10226) - Alamo, California, USA - JUN 19, 2009

Cask @ Pizza Port Real Ale Fest 2009. Pours a medium copper color with a one finger thick beige head, spotty lacing. Lots of caramel and toffee on the nose as well as light herbal hops and spice. Flavor was also very malty with tons of toffee and finishing with a sturdy hop backbone.
