Bottle. Pours golden and clear with a full white head. The aroma is pure hop goodness, resinous and floral. Flavor with moderate to heavy bitterness and dominated by hop with a faint maltiness. Dry with no little to no sweetness. A fantastic DIPA. Toadvine (72) - Arizona, USA - MAY 28, 2013
22oz bottled 2/2013. Pours a pale orange. Big citrus hop aroma, with a big citrus taste. Yummy! robmu (1) - Kansas, USA - MAY 25, 2013 does not count
Great amber color, strong floral note. I prefer more malt/hop balance. Little alcohol taste but lingering bitterness turns me off a bit. Good beer but I prefer others in this imperial IPA class. solidfunk (9211) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 25, 2013
This is four months old but still excellent. Pours clear golden with pillowy head of foam and good lacing. Drinks with excellent balance overall - fruity head on the top with apple, tangerine and some perfumy florals. Malt has some presence as well. Finishes bitter with a little sourness. Great slick and creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Bottle. KegOstertag (92) - - MAY 24, 2013
Drank from tulip poured from bomber. Aroma - very nice citrus aroma from hops. Appearance - beautiful golden orange with nice carbonation and froth. Taste - very nice. Buttery and caramel with citrus hops. Palate - some sulfure/burnt mouthfeel. Not my ideal. Overall - good ipa. Still not my favorite besides the hype but tasty overall

Citrus (grapefruit) & pine aroma. Medium bitterness for the style. Medium body. Very drinkable for the ABV.

This is great. It has a strong hop aroma of citrus, stone fruit, piney, and faint scallion. Taste is a good malt backbone with lots of hop character and only a smidgen of booze. Finish is dry, crisp, and complex. Certainly a double worth trying. Miked1687 (608) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2013
Bottle Poured into ipa glass. Orange golden pour with a thick white head. Smells huge on grapefruit with orange rind and pine. Malty finish in the nose. Tastes citrus and grapefruit with a sweet malty middle and a bitter hop finish. Pyrmir (6163) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAY 20, 2013
Bottle @CBC13. Hazy dark orange with big white head. Aroma of pine, oak, grass, citrus, malt and caramel. Taste is crispy and sweet; grapefruit, grass and lots of citrus. Very nice beer EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAY 19, 2013
The aroma of this beer is quite hoppy (floral, resin, and citrus hops to be specific), and the appearance combines a clear orange color with a large white head. The taste was very well balanced between a medium bitterness and a mild sweetness, and the mouthfeel combines a bitter finish, medium body, slick texture, and a soft carbonation.
