Brewmaster Matt Brynildson went to the mountain and returned with a vision for a different kind of Session IPA, one that would be brewed and dry hopped with a globetrotting selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America. He foresaw a beer that would deliver massive hop aromas, a signature malt balance and an empty glass before you knew what hit you. And so the newest member of our Jack IPA family was born.

Strong woody piney aroma with tropical fruit, guava, bready. Pours a clear golden color with small creamy white head. Piney hop flavor with tropical guava like fruitiness. Bready malt. Light bodied with medium co2. Lingering hop bitterness. Enjoyable light IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear, light gold, straw coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity malt, orange rind, grapefruit and pine. Taste follows the nose, with a nice balance between biscuity malt and citrus hops: orange rind, grapefruit, with some pine and a crisp, medium bittetness coming through in the aftertaste. Light body with lively carbonisation. Not bad at all for a Session IPA, but I've had better. This reminds me a bit of Founders Centennial Light, with the slightly pronounced biscuit maltiness and orange and pine notes.

03.02.2018, tap @ Bergen International Whisky & Beer Festival:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, clear straw colored. Aroma is very mild grassy, hay, moss, leafs, dusty hops, light malts, flowers, grass, paper, hints of fresh wood. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, hay, flowers, moss, leafs, minerals, paper, grass, light malts, bark, fresh wood, hops. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh grassy mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of boring.

Pours Apple gold, almost looks like a cider, orange near pink, with a white, thin head. Resiny, piney flavour, that soon gives way to light malt, a little funky, but a satisfying oily mouthfeel. Very nice.

Draft at Salud Cerveceria. Crystal clear! Floral aroma with onions on the side. Taste is lightly bitter and fruity. Good stuff

patricks110 (2833) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 18, 2018
Golden orange with a thin white head, lacing galore. The nose is fruity, pinch of pine needles, grassy hop ntoes. More tropical profile, grapefruit, pineapple. Bitterness is moderate with a moderate oily resin character. Nice lignering hop flavour. Overall a really nice ISA!

I'm not really into this kind of IPA with orange zest and upfront (dull) hops. Rather middle of the road. But that said... a nice beer.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2018 Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pour - pale gold with tons of carbonation, but a thin head and little lacing. Looks almost like ginger ale. Aroma - Tons of citrus, mainly grapefruit, and some pine Taste - Floral, bitterness from the hops starts mild, swells, and then faintly lingers Texture - very light and bubbly. Again, almost like a soda. Maybe this was a bad batch. There are bubbles hanging on to the inside of the glass, which is unusual for something that isn’t macro. Overall - easy, refreshing beer. Underwhelming to look at and underwhelming mouthfeel. Probably best for transitioning someone from macro to micro
