Brewmaster Matt Brynildson went to the mountain and returned with a vision for a different kind of Session IPA, one that would be brewed and dry hopped with a globetrotting selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America. He foresaw a beer that would deliver massive hop aromas, a signature malt balance and an empty glass before you knew what hit you. And so the newest member of our Jack IPA family was born.

Bottle. Clear gold with a foamy, white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of biscuit, light pine and spice with some citrus. Flavor is pine, spice, biscuit, and some malt. Light to medium bodied. Crisp with a slightly dry finish.

Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood
Clean golden color. Crisp and biscuity malt aroma with delicate hop. Dry mouthfeel, not too weak, the malt is light and bready, the hop is balanced but not too impressive.
Clean, decent.

Draught from Purity Bar Birmingham UK. Initially big on flavour but then became quite thin tasting but retained a fruit flavour. Very hoppy and perhaps too much for me. Pleasant enough but one was enough.

Muggus69 (2531) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - AUG 17, 2017
355mL bottle from Carwyn Cellars, Melbourne. Bottled 03/29/17 Pours a decent size white head atop a orange gold body. Good hoppy nose - pineapple, melons, stonefruit, tree sap, herbs with some caramel malt. Medium bodied but good weight & texture, very smooth. Hops not as intense on the palate but enjoyable with peach & rockmelon & cooked citrus with a slight biscuity malt & moderate bitterness. More punch than the 31 Pale despite its size - decent.

12 ounce can from Lukas Liquors. Another old beer! But this still tastes fine with low malt and hops.

beerme31 (686) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - AUG 10, 2017
Can. Pours clear golden color, active carbonation, medium white lacing. Very nice floral hop aroma. Medium-light sweet taste. Medium-light body, light bitterness balances the sweet. Dry but refreshing finish. Very good overall.

eduardovl (1454) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 5, 2017
330ml bottle served in a pint glass. Enjoyed at Phil’s Burger - Stockholm. Pours a clear golden color forming a big and light white head with good retention and some lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is sweet, citrus and grassy. Notes of caramel malts, orange zest and grassy hops. Taste follows the nose: Sweet caramel malts in the upfront, followed by a good medium citrus and grassy bitterness. Light body and medium carbonation. Aftertaste is mainly caramel and grass. Very good drinkability. Great Session IPA. Strong American character.

biir (1397) - Berlin, - AUG 4, 2017

Golden color with an ample white head. Citrus aroma with a grassy finish. Good hop profile, glad I gave this a try

beer-yum (1779) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 18, 2017
Big citrus aroma in a golden pour. Hop forward balance with full tropical fruit body and crisp clean finish. Another winner for the folks at Firestone Walker - and one that is likely to become a favourite.

Hermod (8062) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUL 18, 2017
355ml bottle @ hotel bar, Västerås. No bbe found. Poured clear golden color with a thin white head. Citrusy hoppy, pineapples, sweet fruits in aroma. Pretty nice. Citrusy fruity hoppy flavors, pineapple notes, malts. Long finish with citrus fruits and bitterness. Feels quite fresh actually. Good drinkability.
